Bio

Obscuria is a contemporary mixed-media artist whose works speak of hope and resilience.
Born in Italy, her work has been exhibited internationally in Europe and North America, including the Swiss Art Expo and Miami Art Week. She was awarded a certificate of artistic merit in two consecutive sessions of the Luxembourg Art Prize.

Her works are born from life experiences, and over time, various media have passed through her hands: painting, fashion design,
photography, and material experimentation with
threads and fabrics.
She now encapsulates her experiences in a single language, to bring hope to those who observe and recognize themselves. That hope of not being alone and of possessing a greater strength than they thought they possessed.
With acrylics, pigments, and textured paste, she creates matter as alive as the emotions that flow through it.

The name Obscuria also recalls the principle of the
camera obscura: a dark space in which light
reveals what was previously invisible.
Those who come into contact with her works are not simply
spectators.

You might recognize a fragment of your own
experience and feel, even if only for a moment,
less alone.

Because sometimes it’s enough to know that
someone else has gone through the same storm.

From the deepest dakness, light can rise.
